Patch Notes - PMOG Version 0.5.12(1) - 28 Oct 2008

Version 0.5.121 was released today to fix crate issues and a few other minor bugs that popped up in 0.5.12. Please upgrade!

Many changes have occurred in 0.5.12 - please check out the PMOG News Blog and Merci's post for additional information and further explanation for some of the changes noted below.

New Features

• You can now buy items directly from toolbar using the Shoppe overlay!


• Puzzle crate are available for level 15+ benefactors


• Your profile now displays a breakdown of your leveled based on association as well -- are you Order or Chaos?


• All tools are now available to all players... for a price.


• Taking portals no longer gives you Seer classpoints

Bug Fixes

• The PMOG toolbar will very clearly notifying you to enabled third party cookies, if you have them disabled, so you can log in


• Overlays should no longer steal focus


• You can no longer summon another player to a secure web page

Improvements

• Datapoints have returned to the toolbar!


• You can now toggle armor on and off from the mini-profile xul window


• Taunt buttons are on the "Your St. Nick caught..." and "Mine Triggered" overlays


• The invite function has been moved to a subsection in the PMOG menu, instead of being a button on the main toolbar


• Players' avatars now show in the messages telling you who looted your crate or tripped your mine

I really like this so far. Being a level 8 pathmaker might encourage me to make missions.

These look like great changes. I really like the separate levels for each association. I'm only a level 3 Vigilante! I like that.

sylverling: I replied in your other thread and the big thread. Apparently we are all seeing our own levels on other peoples pages. And you're level 15 on everything because you're awesome and use all the tools. You have all the badges, what did you expect?

:-P I was hoping it would vary up a bit considering even with all the tool badges I've definitely used some things more than others.

Yeah... not with 1500 of each.

well, just as an example, I've used 3200 mines but only 1600 posts. why are they the same level? And clearly level 15 isn't the highest they go, cos lots of yours are level 18, you said.

But YOU are level 15, based on DP. So that's you max for association levels.

Merci said the secret sauce for calculating association levels still isn't set in stone, and is not what's on the codex.

13 portals for a level 5 seer? wtf?

Also, I'm level 20 on beni and vig, despite not having the 1.5k badges yet. IMO that's just plain wrong.

Finally, how do class levels relate to my main level?
Can we get over level 20 please?

They do on mine, Davidsev.

Seer classpoints are now only awarded for laying portals. However, they were awarded for taking portals or having people take yours, before. The level 5 is probably a remainder of that.

As for pathmaker, I have no clue.

Class levels are limited by your main level.

As to over level 20... PM.

None are showing association's for me.

mine are all showing. and i can see yours...and as an added note, it looks like they're not all showing my level now. i can actually see your actual levels.

Hmm, I checked both sylverling and davidsev's profile pages. I can see their associations. I can see them on my own profile as well. (Although I have no idea why I'm a 16th level pathmaker when I've yet to lay down a single lightpost, (but have taken 238 missions.))

I'm not talking about where it says my level for all 6, I mean peoples primary, secondary, and tertiary associations.
Under your name in here it says it, and it says my 3 in the shop, but not on the profile pages.
Maybe should add stars or numbers next to them or something.

Ooh, I am liking the store right out of the toolbar.

How do I do a puzzle crate?

@davidsev Do you mean the mini-profile overlay? That only lists your top 3 associations, but not levels for them. I assume that's intentional, since it's a mini-profile, not the full one.

I like the new Level system! But I have to say it would be better if it was completely dependent on tool usage and the tool usage requirements were upped a lot.

It's really not that hard to use a lot of tools but the thing that's holding most people back from leveling is those pesky DPs which encourages DP farming in my opinion.

Keep the updates coming!!! (Hooray for mini-store and DPs in the toolbar!)

karmakaze, if you are level 15 Benefactor, when you select the normal crate option, there should be an option to lock it. This lock is the Q&A for the puzzle.

Note that dismissed crates will no longer show up for you, ever. If you want to leave it and come back, close it with the x, instead of dismissing.

You used to be able to see yours and other players association.

I also agree. I liked being able to see my top assoc from my profile. What I liked even more was being able to see "other" players association on their profile. Now I would have to hope a player posts in the forums for me to see what association they are.
Not that I HAVE to see other player's assoc.. it would be nice. :D
