What is a robot? Acording to the dictionary, it is: 1.a machine that resembles a human and does mechanical, routine tasks on command. 2.a person who acts and responds in a mechanical, routine manner, usually subject to another's will; automaton. 3.any machine or mechanical device that operates automatically with humanlike skill. Science Fiction has been imbuing these machines with personalities and character long before they even existed. Here are a few important stops in their development.

There have been many brave men in history, that discovered new things all around the globe while their women stayed at home taking care of the children. That is what they where supposed to do in old times. But there have always been a few who where courageous enough to refuse such live. They risked their reputation, their wealth and often also their lives to discover the world on their own. Here are some of them. I am from Germany and not a native english speaker, so there might be some wrong phrases in my text. I would be very thankful if you could give me a hint, if you have any ideas to improve the text or the mission in general.

Cannibals have this evil mystique that makes them as subject of fascination and dread. For them it�s not enough to kill but also consume the flesh of their prey. Jeffrey Dahmer really tops the list as the notorious serial killer of modern times. Besides killing and eating his victims, he keeps photographs of them in their gory butchered state. One may wonder how did these evil individuals gotten away with killing so many innocent victims. Were they lucky or was it police incompetence?
