From a woman's point of view

Mission Description

A number of women have made their mark in the history of photography - although you would not think so if you were to rely on the internet to guide you, as their works are badly underrepresented. Many of these sites, therefore, contain no more than a picture or two; some of the women I had intended to profile merit no more than a dull catalogue listing or an oblique reference, despite their often pioneering work. You may be encouraged, however, to seek out albums of their work in libraries or bookshops.
