Project Constellation: NASA's Next Generation Launch System

Mission Description

Since 2004, NASA has been working towards a new fleet of manned spacecraft to return America to the Moon and send humans to Mars. The project planners are in a race against time, currently NASA has plans to retire the Space Shuttle in 2010 and they want to minimize the amount of time the US is without a human space launch vehicle.
